Pickleball rankings that follow you: DinkPro Ranked

DinkPro Ranked is a free, optional ranked mode for doubles pickleball open play. Players sign in with an email code, check in at a host's session by scanning a QR code, and every ranked game updates their DinkPro Player Rating (DPR), which starts at 2.00 for everyone, is earned through results and follows them from session to session. The rating places each player on a 21-rank ladder from Rookie to Predator, XP and levels reward every game played, and the best players are listed on DinkPro's Top 100 ladder.

Ranked questions

What is DinkPro Ranked?

DinkPro Ranked is a free, optional ranked mode for doubles pickleball open play. Players sign in with an email code, check in at a host's session by scanning a QR code, and every ranked game updates their DinkPro Player Rating (DPR), which starts at 2.00 for everyone, is earned through results and follows them from session to session. The rating places each player on a 21-rank ladder from Rookie to Predator, XP and levels reward every game played, and the best players are listed on DinkPro's Top 100 ladder.

How is the DinkPro Player Rating (DPR) calculated?

DPR is a team-aware rating built for doubles. Every player starts at 2.00 and earns their way up: over your first 10 games your DPR climbs toward the level your results show, and after every game a win never lowers it and a loss never raises it. Both teams are compared each game: beating a stronger team moves you up more, losing to a weaker one costs more, and a win your team was heavily expected to get counts for almost nothing, so beating much weaker players cannot pump a rating. The score margin counts a little, capped so a blowout cannot count for much more than a close game, and playing the same four people again and again counts for less. XP rewards every game you play but never changes your DPR.

How do the ranks work?

There are 21 ranks: Rookie, then Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond in three divisions each, then Masters 1 to 3, Elite and Predator. Your rank comes from your DPR. You stay a Rookie until you have played 5 ranked games against 4 different opponents.

Is there a pickleball leaderboard in DinkPro?

Yes. The Top 100 ladder lists established Ranked players by DPR, overall or by tier, with a live status that shows who is playing on a court right now. Players can hide their location.

Are there pickleball club rankings in DinkPro?

Yes. Ranked has Top 50 club leaderboards for active players and most wins, plus Power and Win rate, where a big club cannot win on size alone. Pick this week, this month or all time. Only settled, host-verified ranked games count, a club playing itself counts for nobody, and a game stays with the club the player wore that day.

What do XP and levels do?

XP rewards playing: every ranked game earns it, with bonuses for winning and for new partners and opponents. XP raises your level and title, from Rookie to Legend. It never changes your DPR, so grinding games cannot buy a rank.

Does Ranked cost anything or need an app?

No. Ranked is free and runs in the browser. Players sign in with an email code, no password. Hosts still run open play with no login at all.
