DinkPro vs. DinkDrop

DinkDrop (listed on the App Store as Pickleball Round Robin Maker) and DinkPro both work offline with no login. DinkDrop is built around scheduled round robins and leagues. DinkPro is built around open play, where courts finish at different times and the next game has to be called on the spot.

Where DinkDrop is stronger

If your group plays a fixed round robin or runs a league, DinkDrop is built for exactly that, with random or fixed teams and league play that DinkPro does not offer. It is also a native iPad app, which some hosts prefer to a browser tab.

Where DinkPro is different

A round robin plans every round in advance. Open play does not wait: one court finishes early, someone leaves, a late player arrives. DinkPro decides who plays next on each court the moment it opens, keeps games played level and repeat partners low, and handles odd player counts, late arrivals and locked partners. It also runs single and double elimination brackets, shows the courts on a TV, and lets players follow along on their phones. It runs in any browser, so Android tablets and laptops work too.
