DinkPro features: everything your open play can do
Updated
DinkPro is a free pickleball app that runs a whole open play or tournament from one host device: smart player rotation on up to 12 courts, a big screen for the room, live leaderboards, Ranked play with a DinkPro Player Rating (DPR), tournament brackets, a phone remote for the host, match history you can correct, and automatic saving that survives a crash. No login to host, and it works offline.

Smart player rotation
DinkPro fills each open court from one shared queue. It seats the players who have played least and waited longest, steers away from repeat partners and opponents, and makes late arrivals wait their turn behind the people who were on time. Ten matchmaking modes, from Auto-balanced to King and Queen court, cover however your group plays, on up to 12 courts.
Big Screen experience
DinkPro's Big screen turns a TV or projector into a live board for the room: every court, who is up next, scores, the leaderboard, hot streaks, winner moments and voiced court calls. It runs in a second window on the computer running DinkPro, connected to the TV as a second display, with no internet and no extra hardware. It is not a cast target or a smart-TV app.
Ranked Mode
DinkPro Ranked is an optional, free doubles mode. Players sign in with an email code and scan the host's QR at the courts, and every verified game moves their DinkPro Player Rating (DPR), which starts at 1.50. Games also earn XP and levels, and the DPR climbs 21 ranks from Rookie to Predator toward the Top 100 ladder. Open play itself still needs no account.
Tournament management
DinkPro Tournament Mode runs single or double elimination brackets for 2 to 32 singles or doubles entries on up to 12 courts, with an optional round-robin group stage first. It seeds byes, calls the next match to a free court, plans a court schedule with estimated finish times, keeps live scores, and crowns the champion on the big screen and on players' phones.
Remote co-host
DinkPro's Remote device links a phone to the host board with one QR scan. From that phone the host or a co-host can start games, enter scores and results, swap players, reorder the queue, check players in and end the session from anywhere in the venue. Messages are sealed with a key only the two devices hold. The remote needs internet; the board keeps running without it.
Live leaderboards and rankings
DinkPro standings update the moment a result is saved, ranked by games played, wins minus losses, total wins and a published tie-break chain. Players follow them live on their own phones, the big screen shows the title race and hot streaks, and the session ends with a champion, a podium and awards that every device agrees on.
Welcome players on the big screen
Before the first game, DinkPro's big screen can open on a welcome page with the host's own words, and a QR code players scan to join when check-in is on. The host can run a countdown on the screen to build the moment. It is presentation only: the session and the courts start when the host starts them.
Player profiles and progress
Every DinkPro Ranked player has a profile with their DPR, rank emblem, level and XP, ladder standing, 30 achievement badges, kudos from confirmed games and a career history of sessions and games. Players can see their head-to-head record against anyone they have met, and choose whether to show their full name and location.
Light and Dark mode
The DinkPro host app comes in Light, Dark or Auto, which follows the device setting. Light keeps the board readable on bright outdoor courts; Dark is a championship-night look with gold highlights and blue and red teams. The choice is saved on the device and never changes the session itself.
Accurate match history
DinkPro keeps every finished game in the session's match history with its teams, score and winner. If a result went in wrong, Correct rewrites that one game (partners, winner or score) and standings, records and awards recalculate from the corrected history. Each correction is logged with before and after, and it can be undone.
Crash protection and session recovery
DinkPro saves the session on the device as it runs, so a closed tab, a browser crash or a restarted tablet reopens the same board with the same courts, queue and scores, even offline. A problem in one panel cannot take down the court board, a second tab of the same session is warned off, and the big screen recovers from errors by itself.
Seamless device transfer
To move a DinkPro session to another device, Export backup saves the roster, the active session, results and preferences as one file. Restore it on the new device and the board carries on with the same queue and history; the file is checked before anything is replaced. For security, Ranked links and court scorer QR codes are not copied, so relink those on the new device.
